Hands down, the best car repair experience of my life. Brian was incredibly friendly and helpful, and my car was looked at and fixed in under 24 hours. He even informed me about and completed a transmission fluid drain because he noticed my car was due for it. I would go out of my way to support this business. Spoke to Brian about transmission issues on a newer Chevy that is still on warranty. Just a simple call I made in the morning to get someone’s opinion and Brian went the extra mile by looking into various solutions and even contacting the warranty company and GM to help. These days it feels like you spend 100 dollars just to call a dealership about problems so it was encouraging to have someone knowledgeable about cars that is willing to help without emptying your bank account first.

This place is a life saver, I know that it cant always happen, but the owner and his crew took care of us when our cars alternator quit worker. The owner is very customer focused. He listened to us, was able to look at his schedule and was able to get us in and out in a day instead of a 3 week offer from the Chevy dealership. It is not often any more that you get that kind of customer service. I will travel the 3 hours to give him and his crew my business when ever I can. I was referred by a local reputable shop that just so happens to not do transmission work. I called Hermantown Transmission & Exhaust. I was greeted on the phone quickly and friendly. The turn around time on my vehicle was super quick, and they were honest about what needed to be done. After a free diagnosis I also came out of there way cheaper then I ever anticipated.
