I was traveling through Duluth with my wife and friends while on a short vacation and my truck broke down. After calling 3 other places, Christie at Tim's Auto Care center said they could fit me in. She arranged for a tow truck and a rental car. Even though they were very busy and my truck didn't get there untill after 3 in the afternoon, they brought it inside that day, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts from the twin cities. Tim called me right away in the morning and told me what the entire repair would cost. (The price was very fair). They completed the repair by noon that day. Even though no one likes to have their vehicle break down, I could not have asked for a better experience. To remove the old brake lines would have been exceptionally labor intensive because the rear line ran through the frame of the vehicle. We would have had to remove the driver’s seat to get the old line out. With older vehicles, rust plays a role on being able to reattach the seat properly. Aiden brought the vehicle to us with the brake lines previously cut. There is no harm leaving old brake lines in vehicles and is done frequently. There are times when we attach new lines to the old using zip ties. I stumbled upon this shop a little over a year and half ago and so thankful I did. The prices are reasonable, the customer service is top notch and Tim couldn't be a nicer guy. He stayed beyond closing on a Friday to make sure I had my vehicle before the weekend. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
