Initially, I intended to self-pay for a minor repair and not file a claim with my auto insurance. However, the estimated cost exceeded my expectations, prompting me to file a claim. Subsequently, I discovered that the self-pay estimate was about 30% higher than the insurance estimate. I found it unprofessional not to be advised at the time of the original estimate that the cost would be substantially higher if I self-paid. I discovered the discrepancy by having the two different estimates. The body shop attributed the difference to “labor rates.” Apparently, they compensate technicians more when insurance is not utilized. Furthermore, Heritage declined to immediately credit my deposit after securing insurance coverage. I will not return to Heritage nor do I recommend them.

Car was there for 6 weeks for a small 1 inch dent in the bumper. Kept calling asking for an update and were given one excuse after another, "this doesn't fit, that's the wrong part," it goes on and on. Finally get it back with over 500 miles on it. These bunch of crooks are keeping cars longer than necessary to use as free rentals. Now I'm worried about what else they've done with my car.

Came here about 6 months ago because of a car accident and first they wouldn’t pick up the calls or help us really make a appointment, then when we finally brought it in they put pieces wrong and they started to come off within a week and it was so dirty they didn’t clean the inside after giving it back and they almost like tore off our seat covers that we had bought. terrible job don’t come..

Called to ask when my car would be done after a week and they told me this Friday, Friday comes and I wait till around 3 when they close at 5 and I call to ask when I can get it when I’m then told that the part didn’t fit and they had to order a different separate part and that it would be done Tuesday. It’s now Tuesday more than 2 weeks after I have my car and im now told it’s not ready and wasn’t given another day to come get it because of them waiting for a call from insurance. Yet nobody called either time to update me about my car and I had to figure it out for myself that it won’t be done today and this is frankly ridiculous and absolutely uncalled for.

Wonderful Experience! I took my car to the Auto Works Collision Center in Dagsboro after an accident. They gave me a comprehensive overview of the process, worked with my insurance company and did a quality repair (my husband is very particular). Everyone was professional and courteous. We even got a daily email on the progress as well as a follow up to ensure that we were satisfied. Highly recommend!
