Hertz Car Rental - Dulles - Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Had booked a rental car via Expedia - economy manager's special, and got a really nice Nissan Sentra - it had maybe a thousand miles on it. No issues any time during the trip. Got there around half an hour before my scheduled start time, and the car was ready for me. The process at the counter was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly. You need to take the rental car shuttle to and from the airport. After dropping the car off, me and all the other passengers had a 10-minute delay because the bus driver forgot the clicker to open the gate. I didn't have a flight, so it didn't bother me, but could have been tricky if I was running close to my departure time for a flight from IAD.

Highly recommended, for every single staff member and especially for Mr. Mir Begham, because he handled everything extremely quickly even though the situation was very complicated. His time management was excellent, and he stayed genuinely kind and professional the entire time while fixing the problem with great care from such early in the morning. I had met him a couple of times before as well i guess, and he was just as friendly and helpful back then, so I can confidently say his service is consistently outstanding 🙂. I strongly recommend Hertz to anyone who needs a rental car, and it goes without saying that Hertz is one of the best rental car companies you can choose.

Renting from Hertz at Dulles Intl Airport. Hop on the transfer bus after getting your luggage. If you are Presidents Circle, Club Gold or Five Star - typically your name is on the menu board. If you need to go inside and get your credentials there are people inside to help.

They charged us for gas, on a vehicle returned with a full tank of gas! It rained in the jeep, and it had a bad smell. The random fuel charge is a SCAM! Watch your receipts!

Hertz has always been treating us well but today I was really impressed with the service we received from Nick. Nick picked us up from the IAD airport with the Hertz shuttle bus. We just returned from a flight from Europe and we had a lot of luggage. Over there we basically had to carry our own luggage but back in the States Nick made a real difference by insisting that he would load and unload all our suitcases. He helped to find our car and then suggested to drive our car to where our luggage was and helped us again with loading all our suitcases in our rental car. I explained to him that I did not have cash for a tip but he assured me that was not a problem. So the least I can do is let the world/Hertz know that Nick is a team player who makes a real difference. Thanks again Nick and al
