Hertz Car Rental - Hanover - Washington Street

The reason for a five star rating is because of the young man that handled my rental transaction. He knew exactly what he was doing and was certainly very pleasant and efficient and had me in my car and running asap. I also called afterwards with a question about my car and he called me right back and was very cordial about it. I hope Hertz gives him recognition for the way he handled himself and his customer.

Manny Barboza, the associate in the Hanover MA location was outstanding. From the initial rental to the extension that I needed and to the return, Manny was extremely helpful. I don't rent often and he was always willing to answer my questions. All our interactions were in person but I suspect that Manny would be similarly helpful by phone.

This is the second Hertz location I've rented from in the past year, and it was nothing but a headache. There was no employee present when I initially went to pick up my vehicle at 2pm. We looked all over, and decided to leave for dinner. When we returned, she was there and it really seemed that our experience would be really positive. The pick up process was very quick and the car was exactly what I reserved. Because I'm a gold member and have a corporate discount, I receive a discounted rate. A few hours into my ride, my bill was sent at a rate of 6 times what I consented to. There is no contact information that will take me to a live person to address the expensive billing issue. Hertz in Hanover was supposed to bring us a car to replace ours while it’s in the shop. My husband has called them several times with no return call. This has gone on all day today. We now have no car and no idea when/if we’ll ever get one.

Very helpful and responsive employees. Friendly attitude. Cars available are ok. When I showed concern about the KIA they promptly offered to change the car, but I kept it because it was easier. I always rent from them when I'm in the area.
