Holiday Edgewood Downs

The staff here are very helpful and friendly. The apartments are nice and housekeeping, cleans the apartment once every week. Edgewood feeds us three times a day. There are Activities to do if you want to do them. There are lots of friendly people here. The Edgewood Downs is a great place to live!

Without naming all the great things about living here, I'll just say that I enjoy it. Every day. OK, I'll name a couple of reasons: *A wonderful staff, caring and giving people. *Great food! *Frequent entertainment. *A well-kept environment - appreciable by this retired engineer. *Where the anwer's always 'Yes'. Oh, that's more than a couple, sorry! 😛 Thanks much, Miss Gilbert.

Meant to give a 5 rating! All about the people at Edgewood. Caring , wonderful staff and the residents become like family Mom lived there for 8 years and loved it!

As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, I'm in senior communities around the Portland area all the time. Tom Garlock, the Community Sales Manager, invited me over to take a tour and meet some of the staff. Some of the things I look for are smiles. Are the residents happy? I also look at the staff and how they interact with the residents. Can I tell if they care about seniors? How's the food? Is it good? Well, Edgewood Downs gets a big YES to those questions and checks all the boxes for me. I highly recommend this community! They care about seniors!

My father-in-law moved there several months ago. His space is incredible and I keep saying I'm going to move in with him. The setting is terrific and the amount of amenities is impressive. He had been in another retirement community previously and you can't even compare. Edgewood down is better in every possible way.
