I arrived here from michigan only to find i had issues with my transmission. After checking with a few people they were recommended to me. I was very pleased with their staff, from the girls in the office along with there tow truck driver and service tech. I was very pleased with how they handled themselves.

My amily had car trouble (actually bus trouble) on our drive from Kansas City to Fort Walton Beach. Managed to make it to our condo with the bus engine sputtering and running rough, but we needed it fixed before leaving town at the end of the week. Did a Google search for the best automotive repair shops in Fort Walton Beach, and Holmes Auto Repair was in the top 10 of my search. I read the reviews and decided to give them a call. I called on Sunday evening expecting to leave a message for them to call me when they opened on Monday, but Mike actually answered the phone and said they'd work me into their schedule this week. I had an outstanding experience with Holmes Auto! I originally brought my car in for an oil leak that started right after a visit to one of those quick oil-change places. Not wanting to deal with them again, I chose Holmes on a friend’s recommendation and I’m so glad I did. They quickly determined the oil filter had been improperly installed, but when the leak persisted after I got home, I gave them a call. Without hesitation, they sent a tow truck to pick up my vehicle. It turned out the real issue (or additional issue) was a cracked oil pan. Holmes immediately owned it, corrected the problem, and even covered the full cost, telling me they should have caught it the first time. That level of honesty, accountability, and commitment to customer satisfaction is almost unheard of these days.

Could not possibly recommend this place enough. Had a problem with my car's AC (believed that it was the compressor) and accidentally brought it in a day earlier than scheduled (completely my fault 😂). Well - not only did Holmes take my car in a day earlier than scheduled, they went to the trouble of calling me to inform me of the actual issue (low refrigerant levels), along with a VERY affordable estimate. When I went to pick it up, not only was my car's AC fixed, but I found that Holmes had went as far as to put a both plastic guard on my driver's seat and a paper guard for my floorboard. Their commitment to high-quality (and timely!) customer service is unparalleled in the Fort Walton area. Amazing service, great rates, and quick results. What more could you ask for?
