We were traveling from Idaho to California when our checks engine light came on. We stopped to see if they could read the code and get something fixed if we needed to and they were great to deal with! They read the code, did some research, then told us we could kept driving to the next town to see if it came back on. He checked our oil (as a potential cause of the check engine light), then topped it off. After doing all that they refused to let us pay for anything, including the oil. It’s nice to find a place thats honest and seems like they want to help. Very friendly and helpful. I wish they were located close enough to home that I could use them on a regular basis. 6/5 stars

We were traveling and our tail lights on our truck/camper had stopped working. It was 15 minutes before closing time and we were certain we would have to wait overnight for help. However, a service rep came out, identified the issue and directed us to NAPA for the part we needed. HOMETOWN AUTO saved us an extra day on the road...and wouldn't charge us a dime. You are our hometown HERO!! THANKS UPON THANKS!!!

A heat shield came loose on our car on our way between Elko, NV and Bend, OR. We stopped at Hometown hoping we would not have to spend the night waiting for a repair. To our surprise and delight, a pickup truck was moved off a rack, our car taking it's place, and a repair completed within 5 minutes! And no charge! We can't say enough about the service, skill, and caring nature of Hometown. We highly recommend Hometown and if we ever need help with our car when in the area we will not hesitate to take our car to Hometown!

The mechanic part is absolutely amazing! They will be completely honest with you and they will not trick you or over charge you! The car wash part is even better, probably one of my favorite places to get a carwash, and it is extremely affordable. The most expensive options is $10, which is 2 washes, a wax, and a dry. They are all very kind people.
