Couldn't speak more highly of the staff and owner of Hoover Automotive. I'd already had them fix one vehicle and knew they were honest and efficient, taking the time to walk me through everything. But on my second visit I brought my son and they had such a thoughtful toy selection, coffee, water, etc. Not just that but everyone is so kind and welcoming. Just good people who do good work. 10/10

From the moment we walked in, they were kind, patient, and truly caring. They even offered us food and had toys for my daughter Izzy to play with, which meant so much and made a stressful situation so much easier. They took the time to explain everything, helped us in a tremendous way, and on top of all that — they were very affordable, which is rare to find these days. This was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a mechanic shop. If you’re looking for honest, compassionate, and reliable service, I highly recommend Hoover Automotive.

Quinton at Hoover Auto has been a God send! He is helpful, kind, generous, and knowledgeable! I have been to several mechanics in the Hoover/Pelham area and Quinton has done more for me in just a couple of months than any mechanics in the last 28 years. He is professional and knowledgeable, as well as helpful and honest. These are not qualities you usually see in a mechanic. I highly recommend Hoover automotive!

Took my Honda in for brakes last week. Turned out that I only needed rear brakes for the time being and still had some break life on the front. Replaced a rear hub that was damaged. Good people to deal with and did a great job! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Hoover Automotive!

I scheduled with Hoover Automotive for an oil change and tire rotation and they were ready at the scheduled time and had me taken care of quickly! I'll be coming back because they're a local business and don't engage in annoying up-sells. They also report to CarFax which is important if you want to maintain your vehicle's warranty.
