I made the 11.5-hour one way trip to HP Race Development, and it was absolutely worth every mile. Derek Harris went above and beyond to take care of everything I needed, even before I arrived. I pulled in late Sunday evening around 9 PM with my camper attached to my truck, and Derek had already made arrangements for me to park and stay on his property overnight, which was incredibly convenient and appreciated. The next morning at 8 AM, Derek got straight to work. When we first strapped my bike onto the dyno, it was putting out 45.73 HP. Derek recommended the Athena GET ECU, and after installing and tuning it, we saw an immediate increase to 47.76 HP. Dude took in my shock, had to follow up - didn't start any work after 3 weeks. Followed up again and was ghosted. No work completed, never returned my shock. May or may not be tantamount to theft, but its surely not honest. Not again. Good luck

Met with Derek to discuss rebuilding my 2001 RM250 lower, I needed a class act job done and I got that and more. I can't say enough good about this man and his passion to do the job right. He assisted me with questions I had on my cylinder too. Derek even went as far as to contact me well after I had picked up the lower to see how my build was going and if there were any issues, which there was one on the water pump cover, he assisted my concerns with out hesitation! It's hard to find anyone reputable in this day and age, but if you need your engine freshened up look no further than Derek Harris @ HP Race Development, the man does it all. Did a great job on my 84 kx125 shock rebuild. Definitely would recommend him for an honest fair repair
