Hunt Auto Repair

My husband and I were in Comanche for his work. One of our trucks needed an alternator put on and the alarm system was draining the battery. We had a 2 hour drive ahead of us soon and the truck was not going to make it. We called Mr Hunt, who offered to come pick up or tow it to his garage. We were limited on time and I'm sure he was too. It's rare for a mechanic to be so willing to help. And so fast! He provided me with a window of time he would get my truck. He didn't need any payment up front and diagnosed what was wrong. He was able to fix it that day and we felt like the price was really fair. Also, he will text you an estimate so you can see the cost breakdown, which i appreciate. No surprises or sneaky costs. Great auto shop and honest, dependable service.

Our truck with camper in tow broke down near Proctor Texas and we called AAA to tow us .Wed did not know where we were going to tow it .We looked on line and found Hunt Auto Repair .We called and soon we were being towed to their garage .They dropped their other tasks and did tests to determine what the problem was found it and found the part .Several hours later we were on our way. The Joseph and his wife Stephanie Hunt were nice and took very good care of us .I would recommend this garage to anyone who needs car repair. Honest and hard working people. Randy Bonifay

If I could give ZERO OR EVEN MINUS Stars I definitely would. I've been really debating whether to post this or not but after 28 years a service writer/ service manager in the automotive service industry... I have never ever in my life had such a horrible experience as I had at this repair shop.. from them NEVER ONCE calling to get my pre-authorization for needed repairs.. to them telling me my car was finished two to three times and me picking it up each time only to be stranded each time with the exact same problem that I communicated very well that it needed to go in for...then calling me in the end to tell me it was done and saying I owed $1,000 total... this is on a $300 car.. had I known in advance what it was going to cost to replace parts and labor.. I def.would have declined and w
