My wife & I were vacationing in Corolla, NC when the unthinkable happened, old trusty (truck) broke down. Now there are worse places to break down than the OBX, but you need to understand that automotive services are not pervasive out there! When we brought the truck to the RAM dealership, low-and-behold, right next door was Island Jeep and Car Rentals! As an out-of-towner we were feeling kind of vulnerable, being out of our element. Bobby Stansbury, Rental Manager, was fabulous! He was fair. What more can you say of a place... It's the first time I have rented a vehicle and gotten money back, because I was able to return the vehicle before the agreement date. I highly recommend Island Jeep and Car Rentals. We were picking up on Saturday which happened to be an extended holiday and Bobby was kind enough (even though business was closed ) meet us to get our rental jeep Exceptional customer service and the rental jeep we were to receive smelled when he arrived for us to pickup then cleaned another for us to drive. Rented two Jeep’s while on vacation to OBX while staying in Corolla. Jeep’s were in perfect condition and a great price compared to other local Jeep rentals. Perfect day riding on the beaches and around town.
