Island Transmissions

Stopped in when my check engine light came on and car was violently jerking. John was so helpful and reassuring that everything would be ok! Diagnosed my issue and had me in and out within an hour. Prices were GREAT! 10/10 will be using this shop in the future for both vehicles my family owns (and it’s a 40 minute drive!)

My transmission died on me after only 230,000 miles. John at Island Transmission gave me options, for price and delivery. John is knowledgeable about transmissions and he was recommended to me by another of John's customers. I went with a longer wait to get a better transmission. He recommended a towing company that was reasonable as well. John was able to get me back on the road a day earlier then he originally thought. I am impressed.

The transmission on my Ford Fusion failed and I called John @ Island Transmission. He was very honest and provided a great price. The replacement was professional and the car has been running great. I highly recommend you give John a call if you have car issues.

We take all our cars here. John services our BMWs, Toyotas, and my husband's Ford F-150. Always good work, a great price, and doesn't do work unless you need it. He found and replaced a transmission on our daughter's Carolla in the middle of Covid, when parts were really hard to find. We've been loyal customers ever since. It's a blessing to find a mechanic that you can trust. Would highly recommend.

Amazing, quick, and HONEST service! Really care about their customers. And the only place on the island that was willing to take on the challenge of our old car, instead of just passing us off to the next guy. Really great and caring bunch of professionals over here. Thanks for helping us out! You didn't charge us today out of the kindness of your hearts, but we will be back with all our other cars to be sure you all get back the goodness you deserve!
