J & C Transmissions Shop

Glad to have this shop in town! I have a 71 GMC truck that had a slow transmission leak and also had need of replacing the carriage bearing. Roman took a look, made a few additional small suggestions, took care of all the work, cleaned and repainted the transmission pan and extension housing (a really nice touch) for a very reasonable price. Have already recommended the shop to friends and will be glad to return with future needs.

This shop is fantastic, they know what they're doing and communicate what your transmission needs and why. They were able to get my truck in the same day I called, and it only stayed there for 2 days! They always ask for authorization prior to repairs, Cecilia kept me informed. When I arrived for pickup, they didn't want my money until after I test drove it, which really stands out in today's industry and exemplifies their commitment to honesty. With a warranty on their work, I'm thoroughly satisfied. I will recommend this shop to anyone who asks me where they should get their transmission fixed. Thank you, J & C!

I took my 2009 Journey because it wouldn’t shift into third gear and the transmission was slipping. From the very first day I brought the vehicle in, Mr. Rolman always explained step by step what he was doing to the car. He was always in communication with me and always honest. The issue my car had was very difficult, but Rolman never stopped looking until he found the problem. My car came out of the shop running great. All I can say is that Rolman knows what he’s doing and always looks for a way to fix the problem so that the car runs properly. Thank you.

I had a NB2 Miata drift car. Wanted to run a 4.77 ring and pinion and rebuild the diff while it was apart. Every other shop wanted $500-750 and they wanted at minimum a week to do the swap. J&C quoted $350 and did it in two days. The car went to the track, was abused lap after lap, clutch kicks, tandem, power shifting, etc. in 100° weather and the diff never whined, chattered, or anything. Excellent work, price, and punctuality.

Roman and JC Transmission in Redlands is outstanding. My 08 Jeep had some major issues and they kept working on it until it was right and I appreciate that more that anyone will know. Tom Addis
