Scott just takes care of things. I used Joetown on all my VWs. Now that I have a Ford Focus with a somewhat complicated and expensive timing and oil pump belt change. I didn't want the dealer to do it. Scott found a mechanic for me and I was a bit nervous about that but he pulled through for me. This is an expensive and complicated routine maintenance issue and the price was reasonable considering the work.
Normally I maintenance my vehicles at home so I don't interact with shops that much. This week, I ran into a problem on our 2000 Jetta and to complicate the problem, we are getting ready for a move. I simply did not have time to work on this car. The mechanics at Joetown Garage were very friendly and had great communication. Prices were very reasonable but their expertise in Volkswagen repair is the most valuable part. Even though it is a bit of a jog away from Iowa City, I highly recommend taking any VWs here.
Joetown garage is the best! If you have a VW or any car really you should be going there for service. The question you should be asking is why you're not there now.
