L & D Transmission-Automotive

I was referred to L&D Transmission by a friend of mine. The owner and mechanic, Mr. Ryan went on a ride along with me while he had his OBD reader connected to see if there were any issues while I was drove. He also checked my transmission fluid and smelled it. He looked under the hood and found a transmission arm & cable to be loose & not sealed down due to another mechanic shop who replaced my transmission. Mr. Ryan is an extremely knowledgeable and professional person. His staff (mom) is very friendly as well. He gave me excellent advice. He never charged me either which shows how humble he is and is not after taking people’s money for something so simple. Thank you for your time and expertise sir! I was driving down to FL from NJ with my wife and 2 young children. My transmission warning light came on, so we pulled off to a hotel for the night. I looked around for a local mechanic and I stumbled upon L and D transmission via google. I Gave them a call, and Ryan told me to bring it over 1st thing in the morning since we were traveling. (it was 4:30pm when I called, and they closed at 5pm) Ryan diagnosed the issue and worked on it all day. He had it ready to go that same day, and our trip could go on as planned. We got down to FL and back up to NJ safe with no other issue with the car. Fair pricing and I also Love that it is a family owned business. Highly recommend.

Ryan has rebuilt my transmission for me even though there was alot of issues. He was clear and honest with everything, even though we expected it several days earlier he kept me updated and even showed me the parts when I came through. I will recommend him to others and will definitely be coming back for any service I need. PS Ryan take a day off. Lol you deserve it dude

Ryan was very helpful and friendly. He helped me figure out what I should do with a 2005 honda civic leaking head gasket. I didn't even come in! Rare to find great mechanics like that. I will be investing in a new car thanks to his sound advice.
