La Grande Auto Repair

I stopped in La Grande because my check engine light started flashing as I was headed home in WA. The mechanics and the woman at the front desk were all super nice and accommodating, as I explained I was hoping to get on the road soon since I wasn’t staying in La Grande. They fixed up my car in a little over an hour and made sure I was going to be good on the road. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone, especially college students stopping through! They were efficient and very nice.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with this shop. They’re professional, thorough, and actually take the time to listen when you bring a concern in. JJ, the owner, consistently goes out of his way to make sure things are done right, and it shows in the quality of work his team delivers. Everyone there is knowledgeable, respectful, and focused on fixing the problem correctly — not assigning blame or pushing unnecessary work. No matter how you ended up with an issue, they just solve it. They stand behind their work, communicate clearly, and get things done in a timely manner at a fair price. My husband, 2 dogs and I were road tripping for Christmas when our car broke down near La Grande. The wonderful staff at La Grande Auto Repair helped us way above and beyond during a very stressful time (even taking us to our hotel and picking us up the next morning). We are so grateful for their professionalism and caring help.

I have been going to them for years. I do like customer service and very reasonable rates. I have had different vehicles with them. I have enjoyed curtisy drive anywhere within city to wait for service then bring me back. I have variety of services preformed I always thought fair.

This place saved me! I was traveling from Washington to Utah in the early morning with 4 kids. My car started having issues in the mountains and I had no service. I was a wreck. I pulled into the town and googled this place. They opened at 7:30 am and I showed up right when they opened. They immediately helped me. They read the codes, drove to get the part my car needed and got me fixed and put the door by 9 am! As a mother traveling alone, far from home with little kids, I can’t express what this meant to me. They just charged me for the break switch and I was expecting some extra fee for being put first as this was not on their schedule. They have great service, hearts, and great prices. I couldn’t sing their praises enough. I’m so grateful and feeling extra blessed. I’ll now make it to
