Awesome auto service! I've known about these guys for about 20 years but have been fortunate enough the last few years not to need Auto repair. Today I needed it and La Porte automotive came through big time. I have been a customer of LaPorte Automotive for over 30 years. When I first became a customer I lived in LaPorte so they were convenient along with being honest and doing good work. Later, I moved to Friendswood and tried the local Christian Brothers shop which always seemed to find $2,000 of work that needed to be done on whatever vehicle I brought to the shop. The last time CB called with a $2000 estimate I asked them not make the repair but to provide me with the estimate. I took the list of recommended repairs to LPA and asked them to look at the vehicle. Over half the estimate was for unnecessary work (not a broken item as CB claimed). That was 15 years ago.
