Lake Place Senior Living

My family did the research and found the Lake Place for me. I have been here since August. The transition has been easy. My apartment is beautiful, comfortable with lots of sun. The amenities make entertaining my friends and family a huge benefit. My family of twelve loved grilling, playing pickleball, and having us all sit at the table. I’ve reserved the room for bridge games. On third floor is a game room. My family asked me to have our Christmas here. The movie room, pool table, huge bar was great. My 15 year old grandson said’ “Grandma, this is a great place, it’s fun”..The staff, and residents are excellent. It’s clean and complaints are few and dealt with quietly and quickly.

I love living at Lake Place. I have made so many friends here and we enjoy activities like bingo, card games, pot lucks, cooking classes and more. My favorite is daily gatherings at the coffee bar for conversation and laughter. These residents have become part of my family and everyone looks out for one another. Laura, the manager, is kind and sweet and works hard to make sure we have a wonderful experience living here. She has been nothing but exceptional since we moved here last June. Eddie, the building maintenance guy, keeps everything running smoothly and if he can’t fix something he will contact the Walker Methodist team of professionals to step in. My experience living at Lake Place Active Adult Community has been overwhelmingly positive. I enjoy inviting my friends over and they all comment on the beautiful decor and the many gathering areas that are available for everyone’s enjoyment. There are so many opportunities to attend weekly events, special occasions, and holidays that I was grateful to make friends with these wonderful neighbors. I looked at many senior retirement communities before choosing this one and it is by far the nicest one available at a reasonable price. I just love my bright and spacious apartment! I've lived here at Lake Place since they opened their doors. The building is always clean and well taken care of. If I've ever had a maintenance issue, which has been very rare, my issue is taken care of immediately. As far as young people running around in the building I have NEVER experienced such a thing here. The building's employees are so helpful and kind. Laura, the manager, is always friendly and takes care of my silly requests without hesitation. Eddie and MaryAnn keep the building clean, safe and maintained. I really enjoy living here. My neighbors are so nice and we have so much fun at the pot lucks, coffee gatherings, card and bingo games and recently the super bowl party! This is more then my home it's my community. It's a great place to make your home!

I moved into Lake Place last June and I am very happy with the decison I made. I was relocating back to MN and found Lake Place in my search for a place to live. Once I contacted Laura, the Manager, we set up a virtual tour and she showed me around and showed me the apartment I'd eventually choose. She answered all my questions and she was able to get all the paperwork I needed to sign in a few easy steps, as I was still living in another state. Laura, Eddie, who does our maintenance and Mary Ann who cleans our common areas are all easy to talk to and are very professional and exceptional at what they do. They truly only want the best for everyone who chooses to live here. It's nice to have the community we have at Lake Place, many friendships have been made with the social events we have.
