Lancaster Kia Service

Short backstory - My Honda Civic was totaled a few weeks ago, which is my commuter car to get to/from Philadelphia 4x a week, So I now have my 2016 Sorento as my only car. It needs some TLC, so I scheduled service at Lancaster Kia to get things taken care of. I scheduled the Electric Parking Brake actuator replacement, as this was broken (known issue with the Sorentos) I called, scheduled and paid for the parts about 2 weeks ago, I was quoted 2 Hours of labor to have the replacement done - which is great news for me. The previous state inspection alerted that the bushings for my lower control arms would not pass the NEXT inspection, So I ordered the lower control arms and intended to do them myself, however now I only have one vehicle, it would be better to have the shop do it while it is

The service department is unorganized and incompetent. The manner in which the service manager spoke to me was reprehensible. He was disrespectful and has no sense of customer service skills what-so-ever. He spoke to me like a piece of trash! The previous service manager was totally different, she was a great listener and cared about her customers. Unfortunately, we're currently living in a Pandemic of rudeness and disgraceful behavior. This disgustingness will not be tolerated by me and I definitely do-not recommend this place to anyone. I will not get into the specifics, as it would be a long boring story, just know, if you have an issue, big or small, if they don't want to do anything or don't know how to fix something, they'll just say something offensive towards you. First time at Lancaster Kia for an oil change and tire rotation. Excellent service, professional staff, quick service! Easy to make appointments online ahead of time. Comfortable waiting room with complementary water and coffee. They offer a free car wash after a service appointment which is a nice perk! Credit card payments are subject to an additional surcharge.

I totally wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt and after giving them some chances to make things right on a new car we purchased a few months ago from this dealership, it's been nothing but underwhelming and disappointing service. So the story, we bought a car from them brand new end of July 2025. Right off the bat the insulator panel was catching the drivers side door every time we opened it making a crunching noise.
