Larry Hardee's Automotive Service Center

I brought my car in for brake issue and electrical issues draining my new car battery. I was told to bring the car in the day after I called. I heard nothing for 2 weeks. When I called, I was told the brake line was rusted but he hadn't gotten the car on the rack yet. The car sat there for over a MONTH! I called and asked what was going on and was given the round around. "He will get to it by the end of this week or early next week." Waited until the end of the next week and called again. I was told the car had too much rust and it would be a liability for him to try to fix it. Didn't even check the electrical issue! I called AAA to pick it up today and was told there is minimal rust and it certainly CAN be fixed. "He probably didn't want to do it. He makes his money towing." I w

My check engine light came on while passing through St. George on my way to the beach. I was near an auto parts store so I went in for a code read, but that didn’t work, so the associates referred me to a lady in the store who works at Larry Hardee’s. She had me follow her the short distance to the auto shop and invited my family to sit inside while they checked out my vehicle. Less than two hours later, we were fixed up (at a very fair price) and back on the road. I can’t thank Larry’s team enough for taking care of us today. As a woman with a van full of kids in a town I didn’t know, I feel they were a Godsend.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Larry and Wesley listened to our needs and repaired my daughter's vehicle when it was no longer drivable during a road trip home after the holidays. He advised that he would take care of her as his own and 100% followed through. He even reached out to ensure she made it home safe and sound. The repair costs were reasonable, the service was well done and the care was phenomenal! Larry helped out with local recommendations and made sure she was able to get to and from the place she stayed at for the evening. There aren't many places that provide this level of customer service and care these days. If the car had to break down, St George, SC was the perfect location for the level of care and support she received at Larry Hardee's Automotive Service Center. T

I went to Larry's with a problem with my vehicle, and he treated me very well. He and his team did a good job at a very good price. But then I had an appointment for an oil change, and the lady wasn't very friendly. I felt like I was coming into the office begging for money instead of paying for service.

On a recent trip along the east coast our vehicle had a mechanical issue. We lucked upon Larry’s garage. We were so thankful to find such a knowledgeable, friendly, affordable and honest mechanic who got us repaired and back on the road as quickly as possible. Would highly recommend!!
