Legend of Broomfield

Our mom lived at Legend of Broomfield for 2 1/2 years in both assisted living (AL) and memory care (MC). It is a beautiful facility with very caring staff that helped us navigate the transition from home to AL and then AL to MC. We are so appreciative we had the community of Legend to help care for Mom when we couldn't. We visited often and were able to see just how much they did, and cared, for the residents. My husband resided at Legend of Broomfield for over a year. The facility was nice and the care was adequate. My husband was placed in hospice. During that time, I started taking some of his belonging’s home with me each day. He passed on a Friday afternoon. My Saturday was spent in a grieving fog trying to prioritize some of the next steps. Early Sunday morning I went to the facility and packed up the remainder of his belongings. His room was emptied of all his personal effects by 10AM that Sunday morning. I asked the staff if there was someone available to check me out of the room. They said no. Monday morning I called to see if the checkout process was on the schedule. I was told that they were in the room at that moment. That Thursday I received a bill. No billing for care,

Legend of Broomfield is a truly exceptional place! We are not ready to move dad quite yet but when we are ready, our mind is made up. The staff is compassionate, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure residents are well cared for and comfortable. The facility itself is stunning—clean, bright, and designed to feel like home. The sense of community here is incredible. It's obvious staff treat every resident with dignity and respect, and it really shows. Knowing our dad will be surrounded by such kindness and professionalism gives us so much peace of mind.

I have worked here for almost a year and the staff is amazing. They truly do care about what they do and who they serve. As the sales director it is important for me to feel that I would put a family member here if I want to sell someone on this place. I would put anyone in my family here. They really do work hard and it shows from the lobby back to the kitchen, the activities are fun, food is good and residents are happy. Check it out

My mom has been at Legend for around 4 and a half years. We had to select a place and move her in very quickly following an inpatient hospital stay. They worked with us to make this happen. After Covid, I wanted to give my mom a voice in where she was living. I scheduled visits and took her to see the other local options. All those visits did was confirm that she was in the right place. The leadership team is strong and approachable. The director Ericka and her team are visible in the community. They are also open to feedback from residents and families and work hard to insure their staff is strong, skilled and dependable. The facility is clean and welcoming and the staff really cares.
