Les Schwab Tire Center

I brought my 2008 Highlander in for an alignment just a week after a flawless pre-purchase inspection with no lights on on the dash. The alignment took 3 hours, and when I got the car back ~5 different lights were on on the dash (VSC, ABS, Brake, Traction control). Les Schwab denies any responsibility. Now I have a $3k+ repair to deal with. Les Schwab won't help out at all. I'll never take my car here again. I recommend you do the same.

I have always gone to Les Schwab for everything tire and suspension related in Portland and now Hood River. The Hood River shop definitely has lesser quality service than Portland. I recently got snow tires for the first time and I noticed they didn't put valve stem caps on the tires. I thought that was just standard. Also, they evidently do not worry about leaving rubber or grease marks on your doors. On the whole, customer service has gone down everywhere, including Les Schwab. It is too bad. I remember when old man Les Schwab was still alive and he never would have put up with that. The customer service model he developed and perfected no longer exists in it's original form. At least for this store.

After a issue with one of the tires on our motorhome, we pulled into this Les Schwab first thing on a Monday morning. We we given multiple options for replacement of the front tires, and they got to work. One hour later they were done with the install. The tire we had an issue with was covered under their warranty, so we received a credit for that tire, which significantly reduced our cost for the new tires. I couldn't be happier with this experience. Hunter helped us up front, and he was great!!! Thanks again, Les Schwab, for reassuring us that purchasing tires here is the right choice, especially for a RV.

I would not recommend this location. I had to go back 6 times within two weeks when I was getting studded tires put on. Then I had to go to a completely different Les Schwab to get it fixed. Plus the other location let me know that the weights on my tires were barely in spec. I’m very disappointed.

Go to place for my tires. Quick turnaround service. Swapped my winter tires to my wheels. Please schedule an appointment and you won't complain about wait times :) Appreciate your work and the free air checks are always handy. Thanks Guys keep up the good work! Tires handle the snow great.
