Louie Auto Repair

Went here about 5 years ago as a URI student down on my luck. Louis is extremely trustworthy and reliable. I came back 5 years later to leave a review as my current vehicle issues brought my positive experience with Louis back to mind.

What an absolute find! Our longstanding mechanic retired, and after some awful experiences we found Louie's. (Louie also recommended a mechanic to fix my wife's transmission after a really bad experience with a local mechanic, who was nearly half the price as the bad experience one!) From Louie to the mechanics to the ladies out front, always fits us in, always does a great job.....his prices are fantastic too. He will give honest opinions, and will help out whenever he can. Now mine, my wife's and my daughter's vehicles go there!

Very grateful to these nice folks. I began having a serious issue with my car on my way up to New England to visit family. My brother recommended this shop. They fixed the issue with my car on short notice, and the cost was lower than I expected. Highly recommend.

Louie is a honest mechanic. He does great work and is moderately priced. He is a kind, gentle, all American. He takes good care of my car and many members of my families cars. I highly recommend him. I'm so glad I found a mechanic I can trust. I can't say enough good things about him and his auto mechanic business!

I don't normally write online reviews, but I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to this shop for repair. My rear brakes went on my car today and I was in dire need of immediate repair. Louie, his wife and his staff are fast, friendly and great at what they do. He made the repairs at a fair price, but what motivated me to write this review was the fact that he kept the shop open late to get the repairs done for me so I wouldn't be stranded without a car. I walked over to the pizza shop next door, and about 90 minutes later, they called me and said I could pick the car up. I could not be more pleased by my experience at this mechanic shop and urge anyone in need of maintenance to bring their vehicle to Louie!
