Mac's Automotive & Radiator Repair—Beaverton

Got all my heater hoses replaced and had my full timing chain replaced including a new internal water pump and new serpentine belt. Cost was over $6000. 00. It took 1 week to get my truck back. Labor estimate said 14 hours to complete which is book estimate not actual. Work was fine but the cost was outrageous. When I brought attention to the cost they proceeded to tell me they were the cheapest option around. I checked with two other repair shops and AI on the internet and all three were consistent with costs of $1200.00 cheaper. The two repair shops were written estimates. Will not use them again or refer them.

I cannot say enough about this place. These guys are honest and do great work. They found the last leak on my V10 Ford Excursion that everyone, including Ford, Mis-diagnosed or could not find for nearly the past 4 years. I took this to multiple places and only this place got it right. Honest and their pricing is fair. Thankyou Mac's.

I thought I made an appointment with the Beaverton Shop, but didn’t. It was for another Mac’s location. I only needed an oil change and Jim was very accommodating and fit me right in. I was out of there in less than one hour. The management should state what shop is associated with the 800 number to avoid this confusion in the future. Jim gets 5 stars, the management gets 2 stars.

Mac's is a great place to take in your car for repairs and maintenance. I have an older car and I know it's in good hands with them. They really know what they're talking about and are very kind, helpful, and honest. I have done a few repairs with them and every time they did a great job. Will be continuing going to them for my car.

I have interacted with Jim on two occasions so far, and hope to continue in the future. The second time Jim recommended a special process that cleaned all of the sludge out of my engine and made it run as quietly as if it was brand-new. I'll be back as soon as I need additional service or repairs.
