Mavis Discount Tire

I brought my car into Mavis in Scarsdale for new tires and a general check-up. The service itself eventually got done, but the overall experience was much more frustrating than it should have been. I waited over 6 hours, which in itself isn’t always a dealbreaker — delays happen. The bigger issue was the lack of communication and organization. There were long stretches where no updates were given, and it felt like customers were just sitting around unsure of what was happening with their vehicles. At times, it seemed like the workflow in the shop wasn’t well managed. Staff members were going in and out of the back area & talking on there cellphones , and from a customer perspective, it didn’t look efficient or professional. Even simple communication like estimated wait times or progress

My husband andI had such a great experience at Mavis Discount Tires on Central Avenue in Scarsdale, thanks to Saba and MJ. They were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Even though the shop was extremely busy, they took care of our tire quickly and efficiently and had it fixed in record time. They were professional, kind, and genuinely cared about helping us. It’s rare to find service like that these days, and they truly went above and beyond. We are so grateful for the fabulous Service and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!!!!

I came to this Mavis to change all my tires, and I have to say the service here is the best I’ve experienced. I’ve been to several Mavis locations, but this one truly stands out. Quanesha (assistant manager) and Carlos (service manager) were both extremely professional, helpful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Their customer service went above and beyond, and I’ll definitely be coming back to this location in the future. Came through for a quick oil change and, as always, Quanesha and Kemar took great care of me. Super friendly, fast, and professional — they always make the experience smooth and easy.

Stopped by Mavis when my Tesla alerted me to a flat tire . Carlos the service manager could not have been nicer . My car was taken in right away. I explained that I needed to get home rather quickly to take my dog out . Carlos quickly diagnosed my tire and I was out within 20 minutes. The best part was that my tire had something in it but didn’t need a repair or a new tire ! Carlos filled the tire with air no charge ! Absolutely amazing service ! Thanks Mavis and Carlos

I’m honestly not satisfied with my experience. I brought my car in for tires and a general check-up and waited close to four hours. The wait time itself wasn’t the biggest issue — it was the lack of professionalism. During my wait, I observed the manager (MJ) and the service manager (Carlos) repeatedly going into the back area of the tire room. I was told I couldn’t stand in the back due to safety hazards, which I understood, so my wife and I waited in the parking lot near HomeGoods. From there, we could see them going into the back area multiple times. At one point, i watched Carlos drink alcohol in the back of the shop, I don’t know if he thought no one can see him but I did clear as day which is completely inappropriate in a workplace — especially in an auto service environment where
