This was my first time here. Tim and his wife were very helpful. I was looking for a particular brand of battery for my truck, and they had it. Terrific service and the price was good. I'll definitely recommend them.

My son who happens to be student athlete at Slippery Rock University and a newly licensed driver was experiencing overheating problems with his car. He didn’t know what to do. I called Tim, drove from Waldorf MD and had the vehicle towed from my son’s apartment to Mc Candless shop. Within 2 hours of having the vehicle, Tim diagnosed the issue, ordered a radiator, had it repaired without overcharging me. I am very grateful for his honesty and kindness. I know I can rest easy knowing that my son has a service and repair shop that he can count on away from home. I highly recommend Tim and Mac Candless to anyone having for service on his/her car in the Slippery Rock/Grove City area.

Pricing was probably about average. Tim the mechanic was very kind, but I had the opposite experience with the woman behind the desk! Her demeanor wasn’t the most friendly- unsure if it was because I had to come shortly before closing, if she’s just a bit dry or rough in her natural demeanor, or a bad day/something else.

This place is fantastic. Tim did an excellent job. Honest mechanics. I'm very appreciative of their help. A definite 5-stars.
