Meineke Car Care Center

I like to come here mainly to this meineke because Terry has great customer service and prices are fair compared to other big named mechanic shops. Never had issues with my car after getting parts replaced on my car. Other meineke shops should have good customer service like Terry's shop. I don't feel like they are trying to nickel and dime me to spend more money on other services. Great place to take your car for work.

Came in for a simple oil change and left with car problems I didn’t have before. They clearly messed up my vehicle and took zero responsibility. A routine service shouldn’t turn into a repair nightmare. Completely unacceptable—do not trust them with your car TERRY IS THE OWNER AND JAMES DID MY OIL CHANGE *DO NOT RECOMMEND!

So I actually previously took my car to Midas, who was the one who told me what was wrong with it and a couple months later we made this appointment not realizing it wasn’t the same place. But I’m sure glad I did!! They were so nice and they actually did a whole little inspection, and found the reason for the problem was actually a whole other problem! Fixing the first seen issue would have just been a bandaid without the second fix. I’m grateful they took the time to make sure the vehicle was really driving well and I felt like the pricing was really reasonable. We called two friends in other states who are knowledgeable about cars and they also said the pricing was very reasonable. Will be going here for our next car needs.

I went to another shop for a brake inspection and was told I only needed new back brakes. I decided to get a second opinion and went to Terry at Meineke in Lakewood and I’m so glad I did! He checked everything and found that my front brakes were actually in worse shape. Terry took the time to explain everything clearly and helped me make a plan to get all my brakes taken care of so I could drive safely again. He was professional, called me each time to confirm the work before proceeding, and had my car done the same day. The pricing was very reasonable for the job, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I really appreciate his honesty and care — I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Terry and the team at Meineke in Lakewood!

When I talked to the person, I was trying to tell him the problems about my car. I told him that I had no brakes, but the front brakes was already was done. I told him about other things that could be wrong, but I guess he went on and did what he wanted to do. Plus he put windshield wipers on which I told him not to, plus he went on to do others things, that I did not include in the brakes inspection. After I told him that I was given a credit in the amount of $2000 that I should of never told him to do. I guess he looked for other things to add. I was so surprised what had happened after he had completed the services. All those other charges should have never been add.
