Mesa Tire

One of my tires gave up at the Chevron 0.3 miles away from here, and I was glad to see that there was a tire place so close. They did the best they could, and I got a used tire for a very reasonable price. I'm happy to report that my replacement tire got me 1,000 miles away without another incident.

Spent the night at Raton in our motorhome. The next day we stopped at a store (after checking tire pressures before leaving our campsite). We were shocked to see that our front driver's side tire was almost flat. We called several local tire shops who said they weren't set up to handle an RV. One of the shops recommended we check with Mesa Tire. We called them & the man we spoke with said they would come to us. After about 15 minutes a young fellow drove up, took a look and used the compressor on his truck to air up our tire. He said it appeared to be holding air and asked us to follow him back to their shop. We drove to their shop and he removed the wheel & checked the tire for leaks. Owner and employees were very friendly and helpful. Had incurred a flat that was replaced with my spare tire but spare was a different size rim. This caused a scary wobble in the behavior of the truck as we were leaving Raton so Googled and found these guys. They thoroughly checked both front and rear suspension and found nothing amiss. They then suggested we fix the flat original tire and put it back on since the spare was different size rim. Did the job quickly, efficiently, and charged what I considered was was a very low price “for what little we did”’! Would highly recommend them!

Had a low tire pressure light come on while driving down Raton Pass. Went to Mesa and the 2 gentlemen there (and cute little dog) checked all my tires and added a little bit of air into each one. They were super friendly and courteous.

I was traveling to Lubbock, Texas and my low tire warning came on so I stopped at Mesa Tire and they took my tire off and checked it and said I was not putting enough air in my tires for this time of year. I was putting 32 and they said I needed 40 to 45 in my tire. They were very friendly and very kind and they didn’t charge me anythingwhich doesn’t happen often.
