Mid-State Transmission & Auto Repair

We were traveling from Chicago to St.Louis when we had an issue with our car. We ran into the owner of this shop at a gas station and he said he could fix the problem. Not only did he fix it but they would not take any money for their service. We were on the road in less than 15 minutes. What wonderful people! Thank you for making the world a little friendlier!!

Had a major repair done sometime back. A recommendation for another service was advised. I declined. Because of that the major repair had to be repeated. this time I listened. The irony is, as a service professional in another field, for 45 years, I have witnessed a LOT of times people have made the same mistake. My van is running better then it has for a long time. These guys are great. Super nice. I was in and out. The owner Jerry is very honest and tells you the truth. He doesnt try and just take your money! Will refer them to others that I know!

Very fair estimates, called and they had me in next day to diagnose the problems. Excellent call back needed some repairs. Had a bid for the work needed and also suggested another repair that would be easily completed with the first work opening up the possibility of the second repair. The parts are on Order and they will call when parts arrive . Excellent communication with me about the process

Excellent customer service and turn around time! I spoke with Brian on the phone and he was extremely knowledgeable and offered excellent advice. Also, they were able to diagnose the issue the same day. Very grateful to have a reputable transmission shop in town. Highly recommend!
