We've been taking our vehicles to Midas for years. Everything from oil changes to brakes and whatever else needs servicing. Josh and Dan are honest and provide sound advice at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been here more times than i’d anticipated since November of last year. For one car and then another. But EVERY SINGLE TIME… it’s been consistently good service. The entire team at Midas gurnee does good work. Honest mechanics and staff. Always clean. Always informative. They offer full service for a wide variety of vehicles (including imports). Ladies… there’s no pink tax here either! For as long as i’m in Lake County, they’ve got my business.

the people are kind, but the service is miserable. Brought my vehicle in for a coolant leak, and I left with an oil leak. They tried everything to not take responsibility, citing my cars mileage, use, etc. I came in with no leak, I left with a leak. a significant leak at that. I was out of oil by the time I was home. I finally got them to fix it with reduced price because they would not take responsibility. when I left with the oil leak fixed they did not put any oil into my vehicle. so they let me leave without oil in my vehicle. unconscionable. I was lucky I didn't trust them, stopped at a nearby parking lot at the mall and checked my oil. sure enough, a dry dipstick. Next, I go on a trip to Michigan and come back to an empty coolant reservoir. I take it back to Midas and they claim up a

Josh was outstanding to work with. My wife stated she heard a “noise” and both her and I suspected that the brakes were in need of replacement. Called Josh over at Midas in Gurnee on a Thursday evening and he was able to squeeze me in Friday morning. It was great to find out that the brakes on my wife’s vehicle were in great condition and no immediate need for replacement. Other shops may have taken advantage of the situation but not JOSH AT MIDAS. Additionally, the brake inspection was free of charge!! Because of this situation I will be a life long customer.
