This repair crew is a complete mess. I run Horny Toad Transport out of Bryan, TX, and I wouldn't trust these guys to even change a fuel cap, let alone handle real work. Hired them to install a compressor-a straightforward job. Instead, they broke a brand-new $1700 unit, lost mounting nuts and my sockets, and ditched the job without a call or text. Rick and his so-called tech have no clue what they're doing. They only take cash or comcheck, likely to avoid accountability for their awful work. A month later, Rick still hasn't followed up despite promising a call. I fixed it myself in 30 minutes once I recovered from an injury. They charge $185/hr to waste your time and ruin your parts. Had them come out to replace an air dryer on a Volvo VNL 2019. I bought part at the Volvo dealer which they picked up. Technician had part replaced within 35 min. Fast and efficient overall. Had a minor concern over invoice, and Rick (owner) was able to explain and make it right! Overall they got me up and rolling, I paid $561.60 total for repair. $100 call out fee, $65 shop fee, and $370 for labor. Paid through EFS, they also accept credit card. They don’t charge mileage but do have a 3 hour minimum for anything out of Cheyenne, WY city limits.
