Motor City Express Car Wash

Please DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My truck was still dirty after the first wash so I went through twice, see results below. Not only does it not clean, it will scratch your vehicle all over! It looked better before I went through this wash. Please go to Jax!

I used to like this car wash, but I haven’t been here in a few months. Pricing structure is very different now (higher). But the $10 basic wash that I got didn’t dry my car well at all. Luckily I had a cloth to do that by hand, or all the water would have frozen on my car. The next wash up the pricing ladder was $20. That seems like a lot to pay for a basic wash just to get the car dry. A few of the vacuums were not functional as well, and the vacuum area needs better snow removal to allow pulling forward to the curb so the vacuums can reach the cargo areas. I’ll be looking for another car wash.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! I wanted a $10 car wash but wanted it dried. So in order to do that based on what they offer I had to select the $20 car wash. However it did not dry my vehicle. So I went around and parked and knocked on the door nicely and asked to speak to someone. Which is when Samantha opened the door and tried to explain to me that the dryer wasn’t working because they have the heat off. Well ok no one told me that and it wasn’t listed anywhere and I just paid 10 extra dollars so I would like a $10 refund. Not only did she refuse to give me a $10 refund she also refused to tell me who is above her and who owns the car wash. She made sure to yell at me while taking pictures of my vehicle and me and exclaiming loudly make sure whoever you talk to you tell

Wow!!! $20 to run through this car wash! The basic is $10 and it does not dry the vehicle. So you pay 10 extra dollars for the cloth dry which still did not dry the vehicle. I got home and my truck Doesn’t even look clean. I used to swing through there all the time.I think it’s time to search for a new car wash!

This place is simply the best. With car washes popping up all over town I can assure you, nothing is better. The staff is amazing, especially the manager Sam. I have had the opportunity to chat with her a few times and you can tell she cares about her customers and runs a tight ship. The attendants are friendly and caring too. Love this place. Keep up the great work Sam!
