National Car Rental - MBS International Airport (MBS)

Despite the airport being open, this location was not operating during evening flight hours. I had to return the next morning. Ultimately, my reservation was not honored. As an Executive Elite member, I expected some level of assistance or flexibility, but the staff said they couldn’t do anything. Customer service did not feel like a priority. I then had to rent a vehicle from Hertz next door, which was able to accommodate me without issue.

It is my first time ever doing a review, I had a reservation for 11/08/2025, my flight got delayed and was not able to pick up the vehicle I reserved. They told me I would need to pick up my vehicle the next day 11/09/2025 when they opened at 8:00AM. I arrive to request the type of vehicle I had reserved only to get told they did not have any vehicles available, my reservation was not respected and I was not informed of the situation at all giving me no chance to prepare beforehand. Now my work has been affected and I am still without a vehicle in this weather. Plan accordingly and have more options, this location will not always have the vehicle you reserved.

Sly is wonderful. He paid attention to our needs and presented a solution. We went from stranded to driving away. Thank you for your care and concern Sly!

Rental was great. Was visiting family which included my elderly mother, the car I was able to rent was easy for her to get in and out of. Ended up needing the car for an extra day due to a flight delay as well, was easy to update my contract to include an extra day. Only negative was trying to find a parking spot once I brought the car back, lot was very full with no spots available.

Not happy with the service, I rented a white gmc for a long travel, my sinuses didn’t work that day, my wife told me the truck smelled like pot, after I dropped off the truck I called customer service, since counter never answered that Monday, I was told because that because the inconvenience I would be given a discount, I said , ok, I was charged over the estimate, then I sent my wife to pick up my prescription glasses they( at the counter) had rude attitude towards my wife that’s not cool.👎
