I was stuck in the entrance to Mitchell State Park, in Cadillac Michigan on a Sunday afternoon. Mel was able to diagnose the problem and have my vehicle running, a class A diesel motorhome, in less than an hour. I ordered the part we needed, and he came back to the campground to install it a few days later. Mel was quick to diagnose the problem, explained the solution clearly, and get us back on the road quickly. I HIGHLY recommend Mel.

Mel was contacted to change some Uhaul trailer tires for us. He was very polite and called when he knew he was going to be a little late. He very quickly got our tires changed and we were ready to get on the road. I highly recommend Mel for your tire needs.

I work for the UBox program for U-Haul, and as I was in Cadillac my air bag mount concaved from corrosion. Mel came right out and checked it out and got everything fixed within a few short hours. I’m so grateful for him getting me back on the road! Very cool guy too!! 10/10

My truck developed driveline issues on a trip. I was 5 hrs into an 8 hr drive. As fate would have it it was near closing time. The first place I called said they didn't work on diesel trucks (2006 Duramax). They recommended Nelsons service but it was closed when I called. We rented a car and dropped the truck off with the keys and a note with contact info. He called the next morning. He said he didn't have time to work on it but brought it over to a fellow mechcanic (after getting my consent). He was cordial and helpful in that he took time out of his day to get the truck to another shop that he trusted.

Excellent service these guys offer!! They went out of their way to find a tire for my trailer. Replaced the tire in under 15 mins!! Great work guys!! Thank you!!
