Nine Minute Oil & Lube

This is my favorite spot for oil changes and mechanic work. I've been bringing my car here for 10+ years -- even when I lived in SF, I'd still get any car work done here. They're fast, honest, and do great work. They're also consistently WAY less expensive than other mechanics / dealers that I've gotten quotes from for the same work. They're the best!!

9 Minute Oil and Lube in Palo Alto is my favorite place to go for car service. I’ve tried other shops, but I always end up coming back here. I really appreciate their excellent work, honest business, and friendly customer service. It’s my regular spot for oil changes, but last week I went because I had a tire pressure warning. Alejandro and the owner took great care of the issue and made sure everything was safe before I left. They really earned my loyalty. I highly recommend this place – it’s a must-go if you’re in the area.

I have had to go to this place twice in a month...not because they did a terrible job with my cars, but the opposite! I used to hate getting an oil change because my dealership would add unnecessary charges and trying to upsell me constantly. I brought it here and they walked me through what they were doing, how fast they'll take, and they even gave me a giftcard for my next oil change! The second time, I brought my father's car. As you might be able to tell, I'm no genius when it comes to cars. When my father wanted me to take his car for an oil change, I wasn't sure if he would need it, so I stopped by and asked them. They could have easily said "yes" and taken my money, but they told me it wasn't necessary because my oil life was still good and told me more about what to look for so I

As other reviews have mentioned, this place is super efficient -- I was in and out in 5 minutes. I called ahead to see what the price would be -- it's $97 for full synthetic without discounts. They gave me $10 off my visit and a gift certificate for $10 off every future visit for life. They were also patient and polite in addition to being fast.

I love this spot. I look forward to pulling in here, getting treated with respect and having a slice of pizza after across the street. They are that fast! Keep the rebate coupon they give you in your car and get a discount every time. I don’t even live in this town but I come here just for this.
