I strongly advise against bringing your vehicle here. I came in for a simple engine inspection, but the owner was dishonest and inconsistent, constantly changing the diagnosis and raise repair cost to a ridiculous amount. The situation escalated when he became rude and effectively held my keys hostage, demanding more money just to give my keys back. This business relies on sizing you up for more money and intimidation if you decide not to repair your car here. Save yourself the stress and go to another auto repair shop where the mechanic/owner is honest and trustworthy.

Another repair shop messed up my car, and Palo Alto Auto Care fixed it again at a reasonable price. They were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for your service.

They have competitive prices but are extremely unprofessional about noting down appointment times and keeping them. Over the phone they confirm an appointment for an oil change on a specific day/time. When I come in there is no mechanic there and I have to wait an additional hour. This has happened multiple times so I won't be using their services again.

Incredibly hardworking and honest local business, did a great job on my BMW last year and pumped me air for free without recognizing me. 10/10.
