Out West Garage

My check engine light came on while I was passing through, and I randomly found this garage. What a delightful surprise. The garage itself is very cool with a bluegrass/Americana theme. The person who helped me (Darrell, I believe) was kind and helpful. They fixed my cooling pump in just a few hours for a reasonable price and then I was on my way. I wish this was my local mechanic because I’d be a regular for sure!

We are relatively new to Petaluma, and are so glad we found Darrell and Out West. We phoned him the other day with what appeared to be a possible problem, and Darrell took our car in immediately to make sure it was safe for us to drive. It’s refreshing to find a mechanic who clearly cares about both the work and the customer. Highly recommended!

My 2011 FX 35 was having problems one morning service engine light was blinking. I took it to the shop on a friends recommendation. They diagnose the problem quickly same day ( Bad cylinder coils need replacing as well as a couple of hoses) they were very fair with the price of the repair. Excellent work three weeks later absolutely no problems…. Best maintenance experience in Petaluma

Very kind, reasonably priced and my car was ready in one hour as they said it would be. Definitely coming back! We live in SR but heard good things about them. Walked to Saxs for breakfast

If you’re thinking of going somewhere other than here for your Subaru, think again. This is the spot. They make a situation that is normally a thorn in your side, painless, and they make you feel like a trusted friend while doing it. I missed them after selling my old trusty Subaru, and was reminded of how great they are today after bringing in my son’s first car for a 60k mile service.
