I brought my truck in with severe knocking sounds. It was diagnosed with bad lifters. I have a warranty on the truck but they were very hard to deal with. John in the office had the patience and skill to deal with the warranty company and make sure that they send me a new motor instead of a used one that they tried to send. I dropped my truck off to be fixed right before I went in for surgery. I'm also a single dad trying to run a painting business, so I really needed this taken care of. Oviedo car care really came through for me. John in the garage was a master at finding out the mechanical problems. They were vast! My truck was an absolute mess! Called in Friday afternoon for a front wheel bearing replacement on my 2015 Ford C-Max Energi and they got me in Monday morning. A few hours later they called me to confirm it was the bearing, and also mentioned a few other things they recommended. I declined, and they were not pushy at all. By the end of the day, they had my car back running smoothly for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend coming here.

When I was a college student, this was one of the only mechanic shops I could come to and know I wouldn’t be scammed. With the abundance of college students in the area, some mechanics are known to scam people. This place was the exception. They absolutely weren’t cheap, they don’t charge discount prices. But they were legit and didn’t try to scam me ever. There were times they easily could’ve charged me but didn’t. Ex, I came here once for an engine knocking noise. They diagnosed it as a timing chain issue. Didn’t charge me a penny because the lady said they “don’t charge to diagnose engine noises.” This was years ago. Any other place would’ve charged me. But I always remember good service and legit people and they were both.

This is my second time coming to Oviedo Car Care. I visited last month to have a radiator replaced on an older vehicle. This time I had work on another radiator, oil change and brakes inspected. I was told I did not need to replace items I came in ready to pay and have serviced. Wow, a great honest mechanic shop! The appointment process was easy, staff is very nice and not pushy. The waiting area is nice and cool (it’s summer) and there are some refreshments available. While I was able to wait I decided to come back and pick up my vehicle later. Communication was great and my invoice was updated and emailed when we made changes to the work order. Nice people, easy process and honesty.

My husband’s old car AC stopped blowing cool air suddenly. Came here and got it fixed. Before taking his car to Oviedo Car Care, we came to a different nearby auto shop repair, Expert Care Care, they charged $200 total with tax just for electrical diagnosis, and later told him over the phone that it would cost $2.5k to replace Compressor and Condenser. We paid for diagnosis and left with a receipt/quote poorly written, no details of labor and cost. I immediately questioned their honesty and professionalism, despite the overloaded good reviews on Google. I also didn’t know for sure if they actually checked the car after looking the quote paper that we paid $200 for. We decided to call other auto repair shops checking for prices and after talking with Oviedo Car Care, the total cost is cheap
