Pat and his team did a super job diagnosing a transmission leak and getting us back on the road to help us keep our travel plans intact. My wife and I were on our way from upstate NY to visit our daughter in FL. Our 2020 Ford Transit 350 camper van developed a check engine light for a transmission solenoid. We called Pat’s and he correctly diagnosed the issue. They freed up their big drive-on lift, confirmed the problem, had the replacement the next morning and installed it that day. This was no simple bolt-on repair as they had to lower a cross-frame beam. These guys know transmissions - and don’t play games. Told by a company who provided my oil change that my car has a transmission leak, I took my car first to Sheaf Automotive - and company with amazing integrity - and they referred me to Pat's, given the reported transmission issue. At Pat's, the gentleman took me to view my car that they'd placed on their lift. He showed me that the transmission was perfect and that the issue was twofold: that the folks who completed the oil change at a facility I'll not name had used car too much oil and that there was also a valve cover issue - but nothing whatsoever to do with the transmission. So, I’ve never experienced any car troubles or had to deal with a warranty company & went in completely clueless on how any of it worked, but Chuck handled everything for me, kept me updated every single day and assured me if there was something I didn’t understand that he would make sure I did before I signed off on anything. They all have a hell of a work load and still got my car back to me quickly. It truly couldn’t have been a better experience for me, I’ll never go anywhere else. Back in January, I took my car to Pat’s because my car was having issues. I was told it could be my transmission. Pat took a look at it. He said he preferred not to touch Honda transmissions and referred me to Hendricks Honda in West Ashley. He told me they’re good and will take care of me. They had taken great care of previous clients. I was iffy about taking my car back to a dealer because a previous dealer messed it up. I ended up taking it there that same day and they took GREAT care of my car. It turned out to be a small fix, not my transmission. THANK YOU Pat for your honesty and great recommendation!!
