Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

I went to Pep Boys almost 3 years ago for a battery. I went because I trusted the name. I didn't realize the location was no longer attached to the store. It made me a little bit unsure, but I went with it. I purchased a battery, the cost was fair and the staff was nice and helpful. Fast forward to about a week ago when I was having trouble with the battery and needed a jump, I took it back to the location. They didn't give me any hassle, they looked at my warranty and switched out my battery. I felt like a valued and respected customer. I'd definitely recommend my friends and family to go there and I'd surely go back again. Every staff member there was professional, knowledgeable, and super nice!

Peggy helped me from my first phone call to replacement of my tires and checking out at the desk. She was very professional kind, courteous and Upbeat. I appreciated the timeliness in installing 4 tires and the fact that all four tires were available on the day I went in.

Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable was willing to work with me with my tire having a screw. There was another Associate named Javier who gave the impression of not wanting to help me with my service when I explained to him that I had a coverage for the tire and was quick to disregard me and my situation because he didn't want to take the necessary steps. I would have given a one star review if it wasn't for Mike who had the best customer services and took over the situation and assured me that I would be taken care of with full confidence. Mike has a great understanding of how customer services should be and thanks to him I can have my tire fix and be able to work this weekend and continue my daily needs.

They are great. I will recommend them. The technician was honest and made sure I understood the risks - he did spend extra time to ensure they don’t damage my relatively new tire while doing flat repair, and the manager of the store was humble and honest, he treats his customers like his family. I am going back there again when I need service.

Got scammed. Wanted to scam me to replace a pair of tires that are still new, was told they got damaged that needed an alignment. Said a tire has a screw in it. Total quoted $900. I refused and took my car to Costco because I got my tires there. They checked and said everything is fine, there was not even a puncture. I took it to my mechanic friend and he could find any problem with my tires either. They always try to have you replaced filters, took out my filters said I needed new ones though I just changed mine like 6 weeks ago. I refused so they put them back and now my car smells bad when the AC is on!
