Bought a Chevy Cruze from them, car was in good shape however was loaded with issues. First had issue with thermostat which they addressed and replaced, no big deal. The second issue was a check engine light for “knock control system error” I had the car at two different garages who replaced multiple parts and still couldn’t figure out the problem. At this point I hadn’t even had the car a month. Contacted JR multiple times about the car and how I was without a vehicle for weeks on end as it was tied up in a shop. He had little to no interest in working with me as far as covering repairs, etc. I spent almost 2 grand trying to fix this car and it still had the same problem. We had a fantastic buying experience with this small dealer!! My son totaled his car the Friday before Christmas. He found a car at Pete's he was interested in. JR went above and beyond by accommodating us on when we could meet to look at it because we were driving 2h to get there, the Friday before New Year's. I'll admit, I was skeptical because the car was listed significantly lower than any other we had found and it had been in an accident. JR may be the most honest, forthcoming dealer that I've ever met. He offered up information we didn't ask about, brought the car into the shop so my husband could get a better look (it was dark out). He got out cardboard and a flashlight, so he could look underneath and showed him exactly what damage/repairs he could tell had been done to the car. JR

Never again! I bought 2 cars there. No issues 4 years ago. Second day I had the car the air conditioner wasn't working. Had to bring it in for charging. 2 weeks later the battery died. 2 issues within the first 30 days. They're lucky I love this car. I replaced the battery at an instant oil change shop it since it wouldn't hold a charge and it was 7 pm. I submitted a copy and asked for a refund due to the limited warranty notice that states covered at 100% within the first 3000 miles. No call back. Now they're refusing to reimburse me. The warranty has things they MAY replace. Car had to be jump started, they were closed but I was SUPPOSED to wait for them to open and have them look at it first. I do not think they inspect these cars before they sell them. They definitely do

The insurance company totaled my jeep. JR just happened to have a jeep on his lot. I was very pleased on how he helped me to get the vehicle and address the concerns I had after the purchase. When it comes time to get another vehicle he will be my first stop. He has done some vehicle repair for me in the past. What I like about JR is he will tell you what's wrong , but he won't try to selyou anything you dont need. His team does everything they can to repair it right the first timel
