I highly recommend Eric Holdsworth @ Portside Auto. My girlfriend has bought a couple vehicles from him and suggested I use his services to purchase a vehicle as well. I've always used larger dealerships and had some hesitations going to a more personal dealer. I thought I might feel more pressured to say yes to a vehicle that I may not truly want. Eric never made me feel that way and in fact, after giving him a fairly specific vehicle request, he found me the perfect vehicle at the fight price first try. We bought a Subaru from Eric last summer. The whole experience was very pleasant, until the car didn't pass inspection for problems related to the ($1000) catalytic converter. Eric had his mechanic look at it and "fix" it. What that meant is that it passed inspection. Weeks later, we had to fix it for real. This summer, the front catalytic converter ($800) is going. That may be Subaru's fault, not Portside Auto's, but we have paid through the nose for this car, and the whole thing with the first cat smacked of shadiness.
