I took my car in on Thursday. They said it would be done on Friday and then they called me and said I need to pick it up and return on Monday and have it done by Tuesday. I called Tuesday and they said they had no record of me being scheduled to have my brakes fixed even though they had told me on Friday that I should bring it in on monday. I did not get my car until Wednesday. It cost me 1600 bucks for my rear brakes. I think that’s outrageous.

I took my truck to Tom’s Auto Center for what I thought would be a simple repair. Instead, they went ahead and did additional work without informing me of the cost beforehand. When I went to pick up my truck, I was hit with a surprise bill that was way higher than expected. If that wasn’t bad enough, my truck hasn’t run the same since they worked on it. When I tried to address the issues, they were dismissive and unhelpful. A good mechanic should be upfront about costs and stand by their work—this shop does neither. I wouldn’t trust them again and would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

I had a very disrespectful and dishonest experience at this auto shop. My car was at the shop for over a month and because "it is an old car" (1994 Honda Accord) it was unable to be repaired. The exact symptom remains. I waited for 12 days for a new computer but when I called the company they sent it that day. It did not need the new computer. I had to rent a car for 3 weeks ($1000) because I had family visiting and the loaner car was unavailable the entire time. When I went to pick the car up I spoke with Nino who I think was fair with me about the brake lines that needed replacing. He said they didn't need to be replaced..I looked at my invoice and I had been charged and paid $988 for parts and labor. I would never have known. I brought my vehicle there to have a coolant issue fixed and was told they would call me and tell me what was wrong and how much the repair would cost. I was told it would be done the next day, it would cost about $270 to fix it and they never repair anything without first giving an estimate and asking for consent. Four days later I was informed "it's fixed but there is a problem." They proceeded to tell my that my front wiper wasn't working. I told them that the wipers worked when i brought it there and they said it's just a coincidence that it must've just broke. In order to do the coolant line repair they had to remove the cowl that protects said wiper motor. When i went there to talk to them they said they would do some digging to try and find what the problem was. I paid the $27

I was looking for a new place to service my vehicle and Toms was reconnected. My husband needed his truck fixed ASAP. I called and was greeted by a friendly voice. I scheduled the tow to Tom's on a Friday and on Monday afternoon a new starter was installed and ready for pickup. We are so happy . I found a new place.
