I just purchased a 2020 Explorer yesterday and Jake Smith was my Sales Rep. He was very friendly and informative. He answered all my questions on the vehicles that I wanted to drive and showed me a few others in my price range I may like. Once I decided he went through all payment options and possible payment scenarios. On Friday I test drove and got all the information I needed to make a decision. I called on Saturday to let him know I was coming in to buy. Once I got there we got started and I was on my way home in less than 2 hours with my Explorer fully detailed and a full tank of gas. After having a terrible experience at another dealership in Portsmouth, we went over to Portsmouth Used Car Center and wondered why we didn't start there! Their staff couldn't be more friendly or more professional. Brian was our sales rep and he was so easy to work with. I felt like he actually had my best interest in mind and wanted to help me find my car. They gave me a reasonable price for my trade-in and I walked out of there with the car I was looking for, a 2025 Subaru Forester with low miles and in mint condition. Jacob was an excellent sales consultant, he walked me through the whole process of buying a truck for the first time and kept me informed as they prepared the truck for me. This is our third vehicle from Portsmouth Ford Used Car Center. As always a smooth and seamless process. No pressure, no gimmicks, no BS. Just straight talk, fair deal, and incredibly helpful staff.
