Purple Elephant Car Wash Torrington

Only the owner & his brother actually scrub your car before you go through the wash & actually wipe your car down good. All the kids that work there are horrible. True generation of lazy workers & think they're actually gonna get a tip for doing nothing, even close earlier when they want to. Not worth the monthly price!

The last couple year this car wash has gone down hill. You pay for certain aspects of your wash and half the time you do not get them. The touchless barely gives you all of the components because the machine is broken. Recently the hot wax is only dropping on the driver side of the car.The triple foam is down because it’s frozen, but you do not get a discount. Then the dryers are recently trash. Used to always run flawless. I will say, up until the past 2 year, this car wash have given me probably a couple hundred phenomenal car washes. It has to be new owners not keeping the equipment up to par, because it was never like this.

My car was filthy and covered in salt from the roads (gotta love New England winters :D). Used it for the first time after work yesterday and it left my car so shiny and clean I love it! Plus the free vacs, available wash cloths and cleaners, and mat rack? Yea I'm looking into a membership stat!

Well kept and very clean. A lot of self service options to wash and wax all yourself. Even have a hand dryer you can use!

Went here yesterday for the first time, you enter at the exits of the washes. If you've never been here, your lost. There's three choices for wash, no prices visible, no one to give you information. You have to pick a lane before you have decided what you want, by the time you talk to someone, your already in the wrong lane, there's backing up involved, trying to maneuver other cars, obstacles just to get to the right bay. Now other drivers are angry at you, the staff is rushing you, accusing you of holding people up. And yes, after you hastily choose a wash, you pay for something your not happy with. Just post a price/option menu at the driveway entrance people!!! Will not recommend this place and will never return!
