R & D Auto Repair

Dropped our Camry off at R&D's cause it was missing/sputtering going up hill. Had no idea what was wrong with it. Devin said he would check it out and call me when he found out the problem. As promised, same day; Devin called to indicate the problem and next day I picked it up! Believe in Complimenting when due and Devin and his Team deserves one. Did exactly what he said he would do and I will continue to refer R&D to folks and for my Auto repairs/needs. Thanks Devin!

Had a vehicle that sat for a couple of years and wanted to see if it would be worth fixing. Had it dropped off and was informed that they were very busy, but they would check it out as soon as they could. Got a call a few days later and was informed of a laundry list of issues (large and small). I asked if the repairs would fit in my budget, or if it was even worth trying. Got some great advise, great recommendations, and very truthful answers. They went above and beyond for me, great experience, and didn't try to polish a turd just to get $$. Would recommend for all services, great people

These guys are the real deal, best auto repair shop Ive ever gone to. So professional, kind, smart and honest. It's kinda unfortunate that these qualities are not what you find in most car mechanics or businesses of any kind in general these days... truly just hard working genuine people, a family run buisness that is no BS. I took my car in for an issue most people would take days and lots of money to fix- they repaired it right there on the spot immediately for under 20 dollars. Right now they are helping me with another issue- still seem like they know what they are doing. I would not go to any other shop in the area and feel lucky I found them.

I cannot thank Sarah and Devin and the entire staff at R&D for taking care of any auto repair needs that I have. I can honestly say that I drive over a hour to take my car to have one of the mechanics there to have it worked on. Matt who is one of the mechanics is amazing and will let you know exactly what is wrong with your vehicle. Matt has given me some tips on how to keep my Honda with close to 300K miles on it running well. R&D will work to get you out the door with the best prices that they can. While most garages will try to nickel and dime you, I have never had this issue with them. And what other locally owned garage offers FREE diagnostic testing??? I haven't seen one yet that that does this and is honest. Any time I ever have any issues I contact Sarah and she gets me in or work

July 2022- 2011 eoo, 2.5 l ,Malibu 6 speed auto transmission rebuild turned out great, 40k miles later, working great. Their guy in Mooresville rebuilt the gear box, and installed new solenoid rack from advance auto . R&D uninstalled and reinstalled tranny and hooked everything back up.
