Rick's II Auto Repair

Came from NY to pick up a vehicle I had purchased at auction. Once I got the vehicle I noticed the plow stand was stuck not allowing the pins to lock in correctly. I drove over here and was helped without hesitation and my vehicle was fixed. I highly recommend this shop. From the way I was greeted to the way I was helped there isn’t many shops out there with this kind of respect these days. Polite, respectful and fast acting. If I ever need a shop in that area again this will be my go to! Thanks again for getting me back on the road safely to continue my 3 hour drive.

For years, I've taken my car back to where I purchased it for service. However, after a few less-than-satisfying experiences with them, I tried Rick's II knowing that a few neighbors take their car here and had only good things to say. I've had oil changes, brakes, tires, etc., done in the past year or two and Jay does a fantastic job. His prices are reasonable and he gets the job done quickly. My most recent issue was what we thought to be a faulty water pump, as my car was leaking coolant, but as the water pump had been replaced twice in the past few years, he questioned it and put in the time and effort to properly find the root cause and diagnose the problem, which was a cracked oil separator. I was in the process of purchasing a used vehicle from a dealership near Rick’s and wanted to have it inspected before finalizing the deal. Jay (I may have the name wrong as it’s been a month already) was incredibly genuine and communicative over the phone, which immediately gave me confidence in his honesty and expertise. Since I live over an hour away, handling this from a distance was challenging, and finding a trustworthy mechanic on short notice isn’t easy. But Rick’s made the process seamless, and I truly appreciated their professionalism and reliability!

Highly recommend this place. When taking your car to a shop, you want the people at the shop to be honest and the services priced reasonably. Often I have found that I’ve had to end up having to settle for one or the other. This place is both, and as an added bonus there is a dog to hang out with in the reception area. My repairs (both front axles on a VW) were done quickly and they even fixed a coolant leak I had thought was fixed. Next time I need something done on my car I know I am taking it right back here.
