Rivian South Coast Theater

Will definitely be coming here for one of their events. The inside is not what I expected at all. I expected a big old dirty ancient theater, but what I saw was a brand new clean modern space it was beautiful. Lots of events for adults and kids we will definitely be back further kid events.

This is a very unique dealership. They have their cars for sale inside, but they also kept the theater that they show movies on Thursday nights. There’s collaborative spaces for you to work individually or upstairs as a group. This is just a really cool vibe with a really cool truck.

What a wonderful surprise to visit this space. They did a great job renovating this historic old theater. They turned the space into a community center and special event space where you can chill upstairs, work on the laptop and get a cup of coffee by the entrance. There are two Rivians on display with very low key sales people who you can ask questions or want to take a test drive

My 6yr old was showing me the removable door flashlight and shut the door without putting it back all the way.. and it made the most insane, gut wrenching thud. I was certain I'd be writing a check for several thousand to replace at least the flashlight and definitely the door panel. But a few quick things re Rivian build quality.. 1. the flashlight is absolutely indestructible - not even a scratch! 2. same with the door panel - not a single market, cut, scratch, paint chip, etc. (how is that possible) and 3. the guy could not have been nicer to my 6yr old who immediately burst into guilt tears. Can't wait to put in an order for an R1S, this week or next. Was there with my parents and the super positive reaction from the guy also helped tip their decision over to a new R1S as well. Awesom

I want to give a shout out to Dylan, the salesperson who helped my husband and I out yesterday! We wandered into the Rivian showroom only planning to test drive either the SUV or the truck since we’ve always liked the look of Rivians and have considered one ourselves as our first EV. Admittedly, I expected a pretty traditional car sales experience, the sort of pushy types who make it feel like they’re selling to you right from the get-go. However, Dylan’s approach was authentic, informative and the exact opposite of pushy. He was so knowledgable, even when we asked sort of unusual questions about the off-road capabilities of the vehicles and I really appreciated how he was honest if he didn’t know the answer to one of our questions (which was rare - he knew pretty much everything).
