Rockford Quick Lube

With the most recent oil change, they did not properly seat the bottom protective panel after finishing. It came loose going down the road on the way home, causing some damage to the panel. Then about 3 weeks after the same change, we started seeing oil spots on the driveway. As it turns out, the drain plug was not fully tightened. This could have been catastrophic if it had come out while going down the road. Two stars instead of one because of all the times I’ve gone there without issues. But at this point I do not plan to go back. Oil changes are a routine, simple process but there can be no errors.

We recently got an oil change on family car for an upcoming holiday trip. However the next morning a large oil slick was found spreading all over the driveway. On closer inspection we discovered a Rockford Quick Lube employee used a wrench to tighten down the oil filter. It was so over tightened there were crimp marks and cracks in the filters shell causing a constant drip of engine oil. This level of incompetence is criminal, luckily a new shop recently opened a few minutes down the road. I recommend all customers to drive the extra few minutes past Rockford Quick Lube to avoid their negligent business practices

Never been more dissatisfied with an oil change! First issue, the manager increased the tire pressure from 30 to 40psi on the left side tires only. I said hey, what about the right side? He said he filled them and my pressure gage needed to adjust. Well, it didn’t, and 10 minutes later I’m driving back to get the right side tires inflated. Then, drove home right away only to find oil leaking all the way up and down my driveway! See pics. Heading back tomorrow to demand a full refund. I’ll let ya know how it goes. All this trouble for a $115 oil change. Will Never go back!

On July 3rd, 2025, I got a routine oil change done by Rockford Quick Lube. Shortly after, I noticed that my oil light was sporadically turning on. On July 18th, 2025, I took my car back to Rockford Quick Lube after telling them that my oil light was sporadically turning on and my engine light had turned on that day. They treated me as though I was stupid saying "Okay, girl, pull out your cell phone because I know you have one, and look up what the light means in your car." They proceeded to tell me "Everything with the oil looks beautiful" and that "it is probably a sensor issue". However, today after I heard my car rattling and the oil light proceeds to sporadically turn on and off, I found that my car has no oil left in it. My car has never once burned through an entire engine of oil in

102 bucks for an oil change... I have never had to pay that much for oil even for synthetic oil. I'm pretty sure I heard the guy tell the other guy he overcharged me. When I questioned them he said he could give me $5 dollars off my next visit. I promise there will not be another visit. By reading the comments this seems to be a common issue here.
